2012 SJLBC Winter League (Men & Women)
Location: San Jose Lawn Bowls Club
Date: Saturday January 14, 2012
SIGN-IN: 9:30am DRAW for Rinks: 9:45am STARTING TIME: 10:00am
Format : Saturday Pairs event, sign-up as a team. Men / Women - Mixed / Match
Dates of Play: 1/14, 1/21, 1/28, 2/4, 2/18, 2/25, – Play Offs 3 / 3
Pairs playing 14 ends of 2 games; first in am - lunch - second in pm.
Round Robin. Victory points as noted on www.sjlbc.org website
will be used as in the past. Along with the PIMD rules of win, loss, & tie points.
Prizes will be awarded to the top Four Places
On-site Tournament Director: Larry Collaco 408 - 730 - 4028
Smoking & Cell phone policy: No Smoking in the Clubhouse or on the Greens,
no Cell phones on the Greens
Dress: Footwear (flat-soled) per 2011 USLBA Laws of the Sport of Bowls (page 59)
Winter Casual, in the past it has rained during the Games.
This is all weather permitting and we will have a phone crew
to make calls regarding cancellations.
Hospitality: Will be provided; however, bring your own lunch and energy food.
Entry Fee: $40 per team (include a check made to “SJLBC" for entry fee)
